چکیده

Abstract This research was focused on the eco-friendly treatment of deep-sea mining tailings in sea areas and mainly dealt with evaluating optimal conditions by comparing aluminum sulfate (AS), which had been proven recently to have an effect as a heavy metal extractant, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) terms environmental economic feasibility. Harmful metals manganese nodules (2%, w/v) were chemically washed mixing each EDTA AS concentration for 16 elapsed times. Copper, zinc, nickel, cadmium, could fatal due their high total content or bioavailable content, selected primary target materials. The harmful 293.2 times more nickel when compared standards various countries. When 1% used removal efficiency 32.77% average. It has verified that multi-stage be necessary, short time important factor. Within (3 h), remediation zinc under condition higher than 0.1 M EDTA. In feasibility, it use would reasonable. results this valuably applied process design optimization basic data presented before development technologies future. Graphical
